What is ISOCON?

Isocon is a 3d virtual tabletop for tactical combat skirmish/TTRPGs where positioning, elevation, and line of sight matter. With a low learning curve and easy to use tools, you can create 3d terrain about as quickly as you could draw on a battlemat, or spend the time to really set the stage with painting and environmental controls.

Why ISOCON?

  • Standalone - this is not a plugin for an existing tabletop, it's a cross-platform program for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Peer 2 Peer - one player hosts, and other players connect, with no external services.
  • Free - there's no upfront purchase, subscription, or license cost.
  • Easy - no fighting with incompatible versions, competing plugins, or complex game engine setup.

  • Character sheet management
  • Support for multiple concurrent maps
  • Line of Sight/distance indicator
  • Data persistence between sessions
  • Auras/Apply status effects to tokens within range
  • Apply status effects to tokens automatically based on terrain effect
  • Support for more game systems (Gubat Banwa, Lancer)

Terrain Effects

  • Apply game-defined or custom tile effects
  • Each supported game system has special indicators for common effects
  • Clear effects with the click of a button
  • Apply effects to multiple tiles at once
